• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or related role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot existing and new systems.
• Drive critical technical decisions providing the design expertise, guidance, and policies relevant to developing enterprise-wide software systems.
• Successfully design and develop applications by determining technical specifications, implementing source code management, testing, and tracking major changes and patches.
• Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications and anticipate potential errors/issues.
• Ensure code is regression free, well documented, and unit tested.
• Participate in design and wireframe review to provide a technical perspective on implementation and suggest improvements.
• Ensure alignment between the business's operational strategies and technical solutions.
• Work closely with the product manager, software engineers, technical specialists, and end users to translate business requirements into technical requirements, ensuring that our technology and frameworks satisfy the technical needs of our organization.
• Review detailed application requirements and collaborate with project/development teams to ensure quality, function, features, and user experience.
• Influence system architecture by identifying and recommending designs and requirements needed for enhancements.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, MIS, or related field.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and its main components, as well as the interactions between these components and other external systems.
• Mastery of Java (or any other OOP language), JavaScript, proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Demonstrated understanding of front-end web application development, including Angular/Vue, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and associated technologies (build systems, cloud-based environments, full-stack architectures, etc.).
• Ability to oversee software engineers, juggle priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organization, time management and communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders.

Requirements and skills

• Expertise in software development, with at least 5 years of experience as a developer.
• Proficiency in the following programming technologies JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Probable experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js or any frontend framework.
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Familiarity with databases, version control systems, and other development tools is crucial.
• Knowledge on cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
